Personally, I think it would be good for Obito to die. Not because I dislike the character but it would be good for the story. I imagine Kakashi over Obito crying that he's dying and Obito tells him that it's okay, that this needed to be done.

Idk some touching feels shit like that.

Although most of the enemies turn good or get TnJ in Narutoverse. I suspect everyone will be able to forgive Obito for his crimes, thousands of shinobis died for his mistakes.

He already admitted his mistakes (he will also redeem himself), but deep down he also knows that forgiving is hard in his case :/
