[Discussion] Do you repect those who are highly ranked in the Narutobase?

What's funny is that I rep a lot of people who have full rep. I thinks it's just about the 'message' of giving rep rather than the rep now, with those people of course. Same thing with thanking a post. Odd right?

I don't care whether someone has a lot of posts or a lot of rep. If someone makes a decent, logical post and is polite during arguing even if he/she doesn't agree with what the other person says, then they get respect, whether they have a lot of posts or not.
It's the content of the post that counts, not the amount of rep or the amount of posts.

Most people believe if you have a high page rank you'll earn a lot of respect. Which may be true in some cases. Its not everything, as you can see from the above observations it defiantly isn't a measure in the ranks you will receive. Its more a measure of creativity, intelligence and such as...which can lead to an increase amount of people that they respect you.

I honestly don't care if someone has a high post count or full rep bar, those things don't matter at all, a member only gets my respect if we have a conversation or does something good in the base, but mostly if I get to know said member better. If a member with a high rep and post count talks to me demanding respect just for that, than he/she is quite f*cked.

Some of them are overrated AF. For example, Dr. Proof and Blaze Release. Yes, their theories are good but sometimes they have holes and these users are taking them like a holy bible. >__>

I don't really care about your rep. Your number of posts counts to see whether you should know the rules, but people use FG to make it look like they've had more posts which I find lame.

High reputation and a huge number of posts - a thing anyone can achieve in time, short or long, even people that really don't deserve to be respected.

I have seen that only the newer members look at it like that. . . . . . . . . maybe others too, but I really don't care. Because I too was like that when I first joined the Base.

Earning respect - for what. . . ? Naruto. . . ?

Please, maybe Naruto is a thing that I really like, but there is no way that I will really respect someone for knowing too much of it or something else connected with it, even if I'm one of the same kind.

For me, respect earn people who do something good with their lives, who I personally know, not some people on the internet who I have never met. . . . . . . . . they can be any kind of people. . . . . . . . . for example, theRPGdude could be an Al-Qaeda member, you know, cuz of the RPG . . . . . . . . . just kidding. :yeah:
