Do you need rennigan for perfect susano`o

I have been wondering if the rennigan is a requirement to perform perfect susanoo, because every time i
see madara use it he has out his rennigan example:

it's and EMS technique the reason why you think its a Rinnegan technique is because Madara can switch between his EMS and Rinnegan any time he wants,

Susano'o has nothing to do with Rinnegan. Madara's eyes just don't change from EMS to Rinnegan when performing dojutsu-specific tecniques. This is quite odd however, because Madara himself stated that he can't use Rinnegan moves and Sharingan moves at the same time, yet he has constant Rinnegan and continues to spam that Susano'o.

Back on topic, the answer is "no." Susano'o, not even the Stabilized Final Susano'o, doesn't require the Rinnegan in any way, shape, or form.

The Rinnegan isn't needed. It was implied that Madara used Perfect Susano'o against Hashirama, and as we know Madara didn't awaken the Rinnegan until he was older and nearing his death.

No its an uchiha ( sharingan special) technique..it's just in madara's favour that he can activate rinnegan and ems almost spontaneously

Because none have even been close to as powerful as Madara.


The Rinnegan probably helps you control it a bit better or at least helps by letting you absorb chakra to keep it going, but it isn't a requirement.
The Rinnegan is Senju + Uchiha.
Uchiha techniques would never ever need Senju DNA.
