Do you like who ended up redeemed and unredeemed?

I generally prefer characters that stick to their ideals no matter what, even if they go against those of heroes'. Redemptions only make sense when they happen to characters whose beliefs aren't strong enough, who doubt themselves etc. Honestly, while I can see where Kishi was coming from when he wrote his villain redemptions (Naruto emphasizing with them, shared pain of loss etc), most of them still felt rushed to me. I have nothing against the bonds theme of the series, it's just felt improbable sometimes. Not to mention, Kishi was really rubbing it in during that War Arc "everyone connecting to Naruto's heart" thing.

So in short - I'm not a big fan of redemptions, while I liked how characters like Deidara and Kisame died - staying true to themselves. As for the likes of Hidan and Kakuzu, they were just defeated, not much ideology involved.
