Do you like who ended up redeemed and unredeemed?

"Redeemed" as in shinobi who lived their lives on the dark side, but died having regretted their actions. "Unredeemed" as in those who never found it in their hearts to give a $&@!, even if or when they were met with their second deaths (Edo)

Nagato and Madara should have died evil. Everybody else I'm indifferent about except Zabuza. I liked his redemption. At least Obitos was very gradual and not rushed, his was very fleshed out which I liked.

I've got nothing but respect for the villains that stayed rotten to the core till the very end, cus it's easy to accept defeat and regret everything you've done when you lose.

Didn't like Nagato's change. I enjoyed Obito's but undecided on how I feel with him being dragged along to the Kaguya battle for more unravelling, it was perfect how it was.

Madara should've been humiliated more to see the error in his ways or defeated by his own arrogance rather than just circumstance. I liked Kabuto's redemption even though i'd have killed him off and I thought it was crap that Kaguya and Momoshiki were just murdered.

With there being 700+ chapters in total, including special spin-offs, it's easy to forget certain things. Like I don't remember if Kisame had a change of heart in his last moments (and too lazy to look into it)

Sasuke redemption. He even chose to not get a new left arm to remind him of how he was and why he needs to be better then he used to be. The others felt kinda weird.

Nagato: Ok so Naruto says he won't give up and quotes jiraiyas book...how does that bring world peace and why should you kill yourself to revive the people you killed? Like really you came this far and all you needed was for someone to quote jiraiyas book and say never give up? You already stopped caring about jiraiya because if you still did care for him you wouldn't have killed him, maybe capture but not kill.

Obito: Naruto reminds you of yourself and states you're Obito not madara not tobi, ok sure identity crisis and you lost to him, still feels alittle off though but kinda acceptable.

Madara: he only gave up because his plan was bs since the dream lasts like 5 minutes then everyones a zetsu and he was like "well...f*ck you hashirama if my plan wasn't a lie by a pile of black goo I'd have already started plotting my second revival."

My second favorite redemption would be Zabuza though he didn't become a good guy though all he did was admit ninjas have emotions and he cared for Haku then went on to fight for that bond to the death...Also that scene where he chops of gatos head so BRUTAL

Other than a breif chat with Hashi what did he do to be redeemed? He did NOTHING positive for the Shinobi world after leaving his clan

Madara was not redeemed. Had he been healed at that precise moment, he'd just have tried to kill them all again. Nothing that he said implies that he changed his mind.

Many of the villains are redeemed. Only a few truly evil and/or psycho ones in the manga.
Even Kinkaku and Ginkaku, I personally think got redeemed given their similar ending with their original characters from Journey to the West., in which they were redeemed and went to Heaven after being purged of their demon halves.

Madara - He seemed to end on a good note with Hashirama. But didn't seem like he was really redeemed exactly. So much as excepted loss gracefully. But he probably still wanted things his way and doesn't seem to regret anything he ever did.

All in all, I am fine with how things turned out. Other than wanting to have more info on KinGin. lol
