Blood and gore and the feeling of hopelessness from many characters would have been a nice addition. Despair in their faces and utter violence would have also helped.

This war has huge disappointment due to Naruto Overshine with powering up into Jesus which completely takes away the sense of danger in this war arc.

People got limbs torn off,eyes torn out,dying from having their body fluids being sucked out,Orochimaru's creepy character,and several characters got cut in half.

And this is a kid's manga?That's no excuse for not showing what a war is really like.
