Do you like Japanese/anime songs more than American songs?

The only American music I like are heavy metal and hard rock. Everything else is just autotuned hip hop. Not to mention that most of the songs in the rap and hip hop genre are the same thing. Btw, WWE showcases better music than all this hip hop crap.

Japanese songs seem to have it all in my opinion. Hard rock, heavy metal and even a little jazz. I even like the romantic japanses songs and I'm a pretty heartless guy.

I like most anime openings from series I watch. I usually hate endings for some reason but I love all the Hunter x Hunter ones (except the first was garbage) and Naruto's newest ending is amazing. But yeah that's about it, I don't look up bands or anything, amd I never actually pay attention to the lyrics although I can recognize some things they say.

I like American songs more, but I do like some (very few) Japanese songs. If it's good, it's good. I just go to American more because I'm from America and don't search for Japanese music really.

And the "hip hop" on the radio is NOT real hip hop just like most of the other music on there, its simply what's popular in the mainstream at the time.

All music isn't the same in any genre , but you know that all hip hop isn't the same type of music.
I like some anime music and Asian *based* songs better than *SOME* American songs.

You honestly have no idea what you're talking about. I've only listened to a few hard rock/heavy metal songs, but I don't think I know what all the songs are like in that genre simply because I've heard the popular ones.

Now to get back to the original point of this thread, I do listen to some Japanese music, especially as of late. Some of the bands I've found have been pretty good. Dirty Old Men are among my favorites as of right now because of their OP for Yowamushi Pedel and some of their other songs.
