He was an extremely good antagonist, one of the most evil and smart if you ask me. He was actually pretty strong to add to that, and to top it all off he has this certain "style", hard to describe.

Yeah I love his personality and powers and his character as whole is one of the best characters in the show and much better than most other characters.....I sincerely hope he gets a power up and rematch with luffy but it would also be cool if he took down a big name in the show, whether it be a marine or pirate but I'd personally prefer to see him get a massive power up and be the one to take down doffy. Just because everyone wants either law, luffy or even fujitora to take down doffy but I think it should be crocodile sweeping in out of the blue and taking him on and taking him down.

But I started having mixed feelings when hr came back in marineford clashing with top tiers. And I kind of started to dislike him once people started overrating him here.

My answer is generally no, but once negative things associated with a character are repeated over and over again, yeah it gets sort of annoying and my patience for the said character starts to run slim.
my opinion is prone to change as he makes a reappearance in the New World though. There are way too many unknowns about him and inconsisties for me to make a solid opinion on him.

I've never really liked him all that much. I think One Piece is one of the greatest mangas ever but I don't always like all of the villains. I never felt a personal connection to him so I don't really like him but I also don't dislike him
It's not being biased if it's a character he clearly loses like Mihawk, Shanks, Aokji, Kizaru, Akainu etc.
But against Jinbei?
How can even beat a fire element, which water happens to be its biggest weakness in comparison to sand...

He's better than Naruto villains. Naruto villains are stupid, they become good guys in the end and Naruto forgives every one of them. Crocodile is a bad guy, he knows he's bad guy and he's not trying to hide the fact
