I always see people complaining about some things not being explained as much as they want or whatever and it really comes down to the type of writer that mangaka is. Some writers like to leave things open for the reader to interpret on there own and figure out themselves and making them think, while others like to give you everything you want leaving no questions unanswered so they feel like they won't confuse their readers . Nothing wrong with either of them, but I just want to see who prefers the former or the latter when reading not just manga, but books as well =D

Most people on the base can't think at that level. Interpretation is something the base struggles with.

Leaving things open is fine, however if you get involved with technicals like Kish has then you better explain everything or it will seem like a plot device.

No. Many things are better off with no obvious explanation but signs or clues that could lead to various conclusions. Gives people more freedom of interpretation.

I like a little bit of both, but for endings of a series, I typically want closure rather than my own speculation.

Yeah, I prefer closure in a ending as well instead of speculation. I just like seeing things well in the end of a story.
