Do you hide the fact that you watch anime?

So i am curious to know this and if you do, what are your reasons for it? I want an intellectual discussion but i might be asking for too much, just tell me if you hide your interest of anime from others and why? Do some people know?

Nope. I don't watch alot of anime to begin with, but I don't hide it. I do the same for comics, cartoons, everything or anything I like. I promote it. Not to show I'm different, but because I simply like the stuff and want to wear a shirt, for example.

All of my friends know I think, and family. It's nothing I hide, though neither actively discuss with them, as we simply wouldn't be able to talk much about it, not sharing a mutual interest in it.

Conclusively, no. I don't hide it, though someone would have to ask me about my hobbi-(-es, not hobbit ;D)... Wait.. When someone asks me about my hobbies, even though it was long ago that last happened, I don't think I told many about manga and anime..

New conclusion: I FEEL as if I wouldn't hide it if someone asked about my hobbies, but probably more out of caution rather than fear of being judged; I wouldn't say I read manga, but that I like to read, as a hobby.
This only if the person is someone I don't know, being cautious, as I said, remember?

I don't hide the fact that I watch it. In my mind, there's nothing wrong with watching anime so I embrace it. Hiding it means that you're ashamed/embarrassed or am I wrong in assuming this :shrug:

In my world you are, implying that there is more to it than just being ashamed and embarrassed, something else entirely.
Me, if you read my post, I would, quite blatantly, use it as a precaution.

I should throw in my two cents, i don't hide the fact that i watch anime, like if someone walked up to me and asked what is that i would tell them like it is and i like watching it, i've had people get into One Piece just by me talking to them about it. However i don't go around with a strawhat being all weeabo and promoting One Piece, i talk to the people who watch anime too and even people who don't like anime and said they can't bring themselves to watch fiction ended up watching something.

Though i don't always go with it out in the open, i keep it to mostly myself, if people see it fine, if they don't that's fine too.

I only watch 2 animes currently, so i don't hide it, and even if i watched more i still wouldn't hide it, i don't advertise either, if some of my friends ask me something about the anime i'll answer, hell i even talk about OP and naruto with my friends. And y family knows i watch it, so yeah.
