I don't have a dad >.< My mom and my older brother left him before I was born. That way he couldn't abuse them more, and that way I was born safely. Although I still have to call him every week, but I don't... haha I'd rather not.​

nah, not true. its not about attention. its about seeing someone else going through something, sharing your story, and hoping they can find inspiration in knowing they are not alone.... you are young and naive for thinking people only want attention

You either care or you don't, why do I need to want to be cool to voice my amusement? I find this thread amusing expecially with the simple OP. To be honest I feel that sharing a genuine thought is far "cooler" but why would I do that when there is no need to make a big deal out of a minor occurrence? In the end it's easier on my conscience, perhaps not on others.

I don't know why you felt the need to reply to my comment. I simply suggested it was to seek attention, which is still true regardless of what you believe. Why does someone "share"? They share to find similar feelings in others and hold their attention long enough facilitate a social bond or structure. Open sharing provides the opportunity to attract the attention of the "crowd" or other agents of socialization in order to multiply the chances of social connection or gratification.

Furthermore, it's funny that you claim I am naive yet you yourself cannot analyze a simple one sentence response without diluting the text. I never said that people only want attention, I said everyone wants attention. Which is true to the point of exaggeration. These two ideas have very different implications, however the one you created was never implied by my post.
