No, and Itachi woudn't really fit anyway in my opinion. He was good, but the main-reason why he could become strong wasn't just talent. As distinguished from Sasuke Itachi was promoted not only by the Uchiha and their full knowledge but also by Obito for years. The Uchihas Jutsu and Kinjutsu were passed down from Madara to Obito(chapter 606) and at last to Itachi(mentioned in Itachis fight with Sasuke).
Even Kuro Zetsu, which represents the will of Madara Uchiha, said that Sasukes has more talent than his brother.
The last generation of Ashura and Indra were Hashirama and Madara. Now it's Narutos and Sasukes turn.
