Do you guys think boruto can actually surpass naruto due to his natural talent?

I can't tell if you're joking, because if you would watch the movie you can see how much potential boruto has, and making me think boruto could surpass naruto due to his prodigious talents like minato and sasuke stating he could surpass naruto.

Yes, it would be borrowed power. Naruto has "borrowed" power because Kurama's power isn't his, but we give him credit for being able to control this much of power. The same goes for Boruto.

Although i do somewhat agree with you, but boruto is a genius and a prodigy meaning he would would learn anything fast. Take the rasengan for example, with training, it took boruto mere days while it took naruto a week. Also naruto did have some trouble making the rasen-shuriken and come to the point where he said it was impossible. While boruto on the other hand added a nature transformation to his rasengan at the age of 12 and created his own called the "vanishing rasengan" and boruto didn't even need clones to perform it. Sasuke also states that he has the potential to surpass naruto. But i agree naruto is way stronger than boruto (including the nine tailed chakra) due to him having kyuubi mode at that time. I'm saying that boruto is better than him without his nine tails.

It matters because kekkei genkai isn't borrowed power, just as developed taijutsu, genjutsu and ninjutsu.

Thanks you guys, really appreciate the opinion on this thread, thanks to all of your opinions I understand better. But anyway to conclude with my theory I think that we should wait until the very future and find out, boruto does have allot of potential though, and may have a chance to surpass him, but again let's wait until we get far into the series. Again thanks for your opinions.

Yes, easily. Boruto already was said to have unlocked 3 elements and this is before the chuunin exam if I'm not mistaken. Take what he's done and place just with that alone in naruto part 1, and he easily packs prodigious amounts of potential. We know he gets a byakugan and in one drawing he even had a chakra mode, not to mention he had the curse mark/tattoo thing going on. He also has the mini hadouken rasengan. Anyone who can't see his potential obviously can't process anything in the manga that isn't outright thrown in their faces and they're probably here for the explosions and to fap to their fave. Can't wait to get passed the movie parts of the manga though.
