smh
as an artist youre on a journey or quest, you asking people if they like your music and then getting mad when they have an opinion wont help you on your quest. music is a lineage going back to the 1800's. theres tons of take on theory and idea on harmony that you have no idea on and if you want to know you need to be open to criticism, not defend yourself from it. it will only help you if you keep your eyes open
While you're entitled to your opinion, it leads me to believe you lack a fundamental understanding of musical production and appreciation. I bet your music tastes suck.
this is also an elitist mindset that will stunt your growth. if everyone understood music and looked at it artistically classical music would be lead pop culture. not a genre whose main figures usually have little music ability and let others make their music
if people need music theory to appreciate your music then you probably need more hours in the gym. because if thats the hardcore audience youre looking for, you need to be elevating the art form from its esseintials, which takes knowledge in classical arrangement. but youll find the larger audience knows nothing about music and that if you want to be apart, you need to appeal to those with little musical knowledge
