He is ok. His bankai is pretty badass. I wish Kubo did more with him to make him more different from other characters.

I hated this as well. Renji has bankai, and nobody has tried to make him a captain. So Ikkaku does overestimate himself, and loses fights because of messing around. I was happy to see Iba smack him down and scold him there.

I did like Ikkaku when I 1st started watching Bleach. But over time, I got bored of him, like a few other characters. Byakuya, and Zaraki for example.

Yes i like him a lot. Too bad Kubo started making new characters and old cool characters like these have no development
