I've gotten into an argument with some guys in another forum claiming that this is completely invalid. What do you think about it?

I don't see Pain beating Bee. He has vastly superior speed, stamina and DC with his mastery over the 8 tails. And got yet defeated by Kisame. That's why I put him there.

Note that I'm talking about Pain, not Nagato.

You might be right about that, but i really don't see Kisame beating Pain.

Neither Pain, nor Kisame, nor Itachi would be able to defeat Bee if he fully transformed into the Hachibi. Sage Mode Jiraiya with Shima and Fukasaku has the potential to defeat all of them (except Pain, perhaps); he has one of the most versatile arsenal of techniques + senjutsu chakra+ summons.

Pain just fought an entire village, had to revive two of his paths, then blow that village up, his mostly powerful path was depowered at that time and Naruto had full intel on him, while he had none for Naruto.
Even with all that staked against him, He defeated Naruto. Just for Hinata show up and plot induced-Kurama awakening freed him. Then Pain managed to trap a 6 tails Kyuubi on Chibaku Tensei. Just for it to keep growing tails and Minato fix his seal so Naruto could start fighting again against a Nagato with almost zero chakra.

Rinnegan eyes negate sharingan genjutsu
