[Discussion] Do you find Zoro and Sanji a bit cocky/arrogant?

I mean the way they talk to their opponents even if the opponent is leagues above them is like they're saying "you think your stronger than me even though your weak-sauce. Even if i lose im still better than you shithole. Then again...i don't lose" Especially Sanji lol. They always seem to carry that slight "arrogant man presence" even when completely overwhelmed Zoro still carries that satisfied smile that makes it look like he owns the place.

These are just a couple of things but there are alot more signs out there. Do you think these guys are a bit cocky? to me it seems so.

I don't see it in Sanji but I definitely do in Zoro. But the thing is... that's jstu in their personality to act like that.

I'm fine with it but it bugs me the way people perceive those traits. People are always begging to put the condom on Zoro because he wins all of his fights, when he hasn't had a single neck to neck challenge this entire Time skip. So he automatically gets labeled the most improved Strawhat next to Luffy sitting back with this badass look on his face like the final boss of an RPG. Meanwhile Sanji is out there jobbing his ass off against opponents way over his head that will either acquire slight assistance or he'll have to make a run for.

Not Zoro hating but that's just how I see it. I still love them both. And kind of got Off-topic but just wanted to say that Lol Lol

i dont find zoro arrogant reason being, he said himself that when danger comes his way he always improves ,so thats why he is happy to fight the stronger opponent for eg.in the fight against Mr1 he learnt how to cut steel and got a hint to use haki

A bit yes but, they are more confident then coky/arogant, to be strong and powerfull, you need to be a bit of a jerk and dont care about other peoples opinion. The fact is if they wherent that confident in them self they wouldnt be as strong as they are.

And to add another thing, while yes they are arogant/coky they never underestimate their oponents, they never say oh look hes weak i do a swosh and it's done, no they exactly know their own power and that of their opponents. Enel for example is arogant and has a ego trip and underestimated the whole world thinking hes a god and cant be defeated.

They are extremely cocky, arrogant and overconfident, but that's just why we love them! And what allows them to be so badass in their fights.

Sanji and zoro are monsters. Its like walking into a dark room and hearing an unearthly growl and remembering you're the scariest thing that could ever be in the dark. Its a perfectly placed scowl looking down on the things that step up to you.
