[Discussion] Do You Feel Like One Piece Episodes Drag On A Bit?

I've been watching the show for about 2 weeks. And the show is good and all bit it seems to take forever to get to a certain point. I'm at the part where Ace fights the lame bounty hunter. I love the beginning and the end but the middle of it all is just so long. Are the manga and the anime the same? As of no fillers? I never read the manga just jumped straight into it. Hopefully nothing to death defying comes to ruin my everlasting peace. But that's just me perhaps. What do you think?

It kinda seemed like it dragged on until the Skypiea Arc. After and during that, it gets pretty epic, especially after the Thriller Bark Arc.

Honestly i watched it when i was younger than i lost interest in it. Thankfully my brother continued to watch it through all those years. I started back up again around episode 395 and caught onto everything rather quickly. Yeah some points are dull, but you can say the same about naruto

Yeah it's dragged. That's why I stick to manga instead of anime.

yes defs!! it took ages to get to the main point in the fishman island arc, it took ages for hordy to get beaten = they dragged the fight for 3-4 episodes ....
