no i meant to write below average. he was 9 when he awakened it. but idk what sasuke was like when was 9 so maybe he was above average

i thought neji was the #1 rookie? and he knew fireball but at the time he couldnt even walk on water or run up a tree. i feel like that would be a below average ninja.

no with 7 its just something normal
with 7 they just learned how to use the kunai and this things

all members from team guy got 1 year earlier into the ninja academy
so sasuke and neji were never in the same year

all these things with run up a tree and walk on water comes later when your a genin and have a sensei

well think of it this way. people like dosu and kiba during chunin exams are supposed to be below average-average. i cant see 9 yr old sasuke beating either of them
