How old are you? I didn't really have any particular plan for my life until I was probably 26. I just wanted to drink alcohol and play music. Go easy on yourself, take some time to really find out who you are before you focus on who you want to be. Who we want to be changes often, especially if we haven't found who we are.

I'm still in high school, but then again, I've been raised up in a strict family with high expectations for myself. But thanks for your comment and for patrickscott's as well. I think that at the moment, I would like to focus on my music.

I definitely want to become a doctor and then head to my father's home country, Gambia.
It's sad how when me and my family went there, we became infected with Malaria. We were lucky to get some pills and an injection, but the other people in the hospital and the streets couldn't afford it. Those tablets didn't even cost us 10 cents, but for those other people they were way too expensive. I really want to help not only this country and this people, but everyone I can help!
I'm doing my best for it right now. This september, my a-levels will start and so far I have very good grades and if I keep them up, I think I can find my "success".

But even if it doesn't work out, my goal is just to help people, so even if I end up at McDonalds, I can still help people in poorer countries and I'll due to that, enjoy my life to the fullest.

I think success is highly subjective and you shouldn't focus on what other people call normal and successful. Focus on your way and only yours and you'll be able to live life like you're supposed to (enjoying it).

Not really. I guess it's too early for me to say with certainty. The next 5-10 years will be critical, and will probably paint a clearer picture on how "successful" my life is, or at least how "successful" I will likely end up being.

I consider myself successful, maybe an underachiever but still successful. Did my time with the Air Force, have an associates degree in Cyber-Security and working towards a B.S in Integrated Avionics, currently working as a firearms dealer, no debt, no payments, no loans, I'd say I'm doing pretty good
