When Madara said that Sasuke awakened Rinnegan, the screen focused directly on his left eye ... and when he said that Naruto awakened Six Paths Senjutsu, the screen focused on that special pattern/symbol on his back .. not on those pigments as you claim.This should be enough to solo this matter.

OT : Before that he was in KCM + SM. He transferred the chakra to his fist for an even greater punch. At that point, he was no longer in that mode. So maybe it can be considered base, since it was pretty much a CES move.
