do you consider the current Itachi anime story canon?

Gets me mad at SP, why does Kishi allows it?

In the novel, Itachi is the one who kills Izumi with Tsukuyomi but as far as execution and shock value goes, the anime did a great job. I liked the anime version better than Takashi Yano's version.

So can we agree Itachi's childhood is canon but not the part Fugaku is shown with MS ?
