I mean in the sense that most of his techniques revolve around shadow clones a big chakra ball,a small chakra ball,a bigger chakra ball and a shuriken ball with some wind element. In a manga about so ninjas with some awesome techniques his arsenal is just meh i guess. Would like it if he had more element attacks, shuriken etc. But that just my opninion, what do you think?

Every character has one style they revolve around, Kakashi's fighting style revolved around copying jutsu using his Sharingan, Kiba has his spinning claw trick, Shikamaru uses his shadow, Gaara uses sand, and Might Gai uses Taijutsu.

the phrase is one trick pony. And no, naruto has mastered several amazing ninjutsu's. Summoning (large summons), sage mode (perhaps the hardest traditional technique to learn, rasengan (A ranked move), Rasenshuriken (an s ranked move he developed), Shadow clones (more than anyone has ever used), henge (extremely proficient), kurama (perfect jinchuriki)

I really hate it when people who label ransenshuriken as a "just a ransengan." Its power is completely different. It's essentially Naruto using a nerve-killer against his enemies and isn't simply an explosion. To answer your question no, not really.
