Do you collect figurines or toys?

I just looked at my wall. I have over $1400 worth of anime figures on my shelves.

I was never a collector when I was younger but seems more appealing as I'm older

I remember as a kid collecting yugioh cards to resell to friends beyblade were actually fun collectors toys aswell. As far as figurines I was never interested in action figures but might consider collecting if any actually have resale value.

I think that's because we learn to appreciate these things more as we get older (well some of us at least). For their craftsmanship, value, sentimental value, rarity, or just to look at. While as a kid you don't really care as much, you just wanna play.

fad was in back in elementary school. We used to hustle those things like dime bags.

I thought about collecting amibos back a few years ago, but the market for them when they first came out were hyper inflated due to limited supply. Prices would get up into the thousands, which discouraged me from collecting altogether.

I like the way they look. I originally started because i saw some Black Rock Shooter figures. Ironically, i still don't own any BRS figures. They are usually out of production and the second hand market price is out of control.

However, if you looked at my wall, you would just think i'm some pervert. I only buy female figures.
