Your argument is flawed. Kaguya managed to caught Naruto off-guard as well.

Naruto was able to keep up with her S/T sneak attacks after seeing Sasuke got caught off. Its like raising your guard after being aware of certain threat.

Madara was able to handle FTG but Obito and BZ managed to hit him in both occasions because he wasn't expecting such a thing, same thing applies to Sasuke. He wasn't expecting such a thing.

And a page before Kaguya attacks him, Sasuke uses Amaterasu / Kagutsuchi combo with both his eyes. He probably needed a second or two before he could use his Rinnegan for S/T, it has been stated that he was inexperienced with it already.

Granted it was the first time they had faced Kaguya and seeing her use her ability but Sasuke had like Naruto experienced the attack so should of been more aware of future attacks but

Look at Naruto's reactions while this happens. He is on the same boat as Sasuke, completly off-guard. If Kaguya picked him instead of Sasuke, same thing would've happened. He can only starts to move after Sasuke is completly absorbed to the other side.

If you're considering this reaction of Naruto was enough to avoid Kaguya's attack there, I got nothing to say to you. Naruto got lucky because Kaguya picked Sasuke first.

This is after Sasuke got caught. Naruto raised his guard up after witnessing what Kaguya is capable of in first hand, Sasuke didn't had that luxury.
