Do you believe we evolved from monkeys

I will never believe that and I am not just saying this because I am a Muslim. The whole idea that we evolved from monkeys to me does not make sense. Apparently a lot of people in my school believe that. Do you agree with it or disagree?

OT: No, I believe we did not evolve from monkeys or a common ancestor. However, either side, whether Creationist or Evolutionist, has no factual proof to prove their beliefs. Both sides, simply, are built on faith with evidence, mainly faith, though.

I'm a Christian, just so you know. lol But I'm pretty sure the common answer is because us, as humans, haven't been around millions and millions of years. We haven't had enough time to evolve. I think that's right, anyways.

OP: I believe in science, and that includes evolution. To refuse knowledge and a yearning for higher intelligence is ignorant and infantile. Science has helped the human's arbitrary existence more than any religion ever has. And that's why I put my trust in it.
However, I'm sure this thread was made specifically for trolling.

Bear in mind that apes and monkeys are two different kinds of creatures - no one ever argued that humans evolved from monkeys, but from apes. That being said, science generally points in the direction that humans didn't directly evolve from apes, but that humans and apes both evolved from an older common ancestor creature.

I'm not ignorant. Humanity is divided into 4 main Races: Europeans, Africans, Asians, Browns! These different Races have different color, body structure, Facial structure, hair structure and mentality!
