If you look at the planets and other heavenly bodies, some of them already has the capability to sustain life. Now thats millions of millions of lightyears away from us.

Which would mean that the light that we are seeing now is millions and millions of years old and we are looking at the planets past and not the present.

If we were to see the planet in real time, we might even see civilizations (ancient or advance, intelligent beings nevertheless) and not just living fodder creatures.

Personally, I do believe that there is life out there, not absolutely, but vaguely. Not by religious belief, but out of curiosity you gotta wonder: why is the known universe so big? If its so big, then there has to be other civilisations out there to help compensate for the amount of space the universe has. Also, I read something about multi verses. It would be cool if one day we could traverse universes freely and discover new, hospitable planets with intelligent life that are open and welcome to interaction with other/species. Also, continuing on from the multiverse thing, wouldn't it be cool if we met another opposite version of ourselves? Same setting, same everything, but just the traits and whatever. Idk, i like really open ended questions like these
