as most have already said i dont believe there is
Id have to say no i dont belive in it i mean you may be atracted to someone but you dont know them meaning you could get to know them and really hate them.
i think love is a strong word that isnt used in its true meaning. i do not believe in love at first sight, however, i do believe that you do know when you meet the right one.
yeah....i think so as wellthat means you fall in love after some time, at first youre just attracted
True love may be possible......well i am not in tho.....but i respect your ideaNope, don't believe in it. I don't believe in true love either *shrugs* My friends and family call me cynic for that, I just call myself a realist XD
So no, don't believe in it
hmm.....I used to believe it. In fact I used to believe that each one of us have some one which are just meant for each others. But in reality it is just a fantasy like god(i meant made for each other part).
It is rare"LOve at first sight" mostly people refer it even when in reality it was attraction only...
i didn't get itI believe in love at tenth CL trophy
hmmLove at first sight ? I call it erection.
got it buddyYeah, I think its the physical attraction thing, as in you "love" the way the other person looks, 2 - 3 weeks down the line you refer to that first feeling as... "love at first sight". If you get my gist![]()
yeah that is what we all should do....I really don't, it's all illusion in your mind. I mean really falling in love with the first person you see, even though you don't know anything about them. If that was true I would still be in "love" with my childhood crush that knocked up a girl and dropped out of High School. Tell me what future would I get with that? I prefer getting to know that person first and then I'll think about falling in love with him if he has the personality I like. :|
wow...buddy you sure did explain it in detail....Well, a simple answer would be 'no', but there's more to it.
The human species seek answers to everything. Instinctively, we dislike the thought of being ignorant, and with good reason. The problem is that we do not seek 'truth', we seek answers, solutions. All kinds of prejudice, discrimination and their sub-types originate from our instinctual tendency to draw conlusions based on incomplete information.
When you see a person, you subconsciously draw conclusions based on their outside appearance and your state of mind.
The fact is that your senses do not send you unadulterated data. That monster in your closet? The man whispering? The woman giving you the 'come hither' attitude? It doesn't have to be true. Interpretation and perception, those are the essential tools for understanding, but also for misunderstanding.
Basically, when you see the potential candidate for the 'love at first sight'-experiment, you can think of it as a blank template. You have no information so you draw conclusions out of what you do have. Love at first sight is an occurence where we fill the template with the answers we find most attractive. Remember though, it could be done in the complete oppisite way, simply by filling all the blanks with things we hate and/or despise.
That's my take on it anyway.
i think so....but i really wonder what happenedit happened to me
im not going to explain it cuz
words cannot describe the feelings <3
yeah so true buddyI thinks its just a strong physical attraction.
lol......xdIn today's generation, Nope. When you feel something on first sight it just means your horny.![]()
wow....xdF*ck love at first sight. I believe in hate at first sight.
*looks at Sasuke fanboys*
yeah i think lust leads to love......but that love may not success ed... i guessNAAAH..... its possible to have lust at first sight which later develops into love.
wow....that was new and funnyxdlove in it self does not exist it is chemically no different than eating large amounts of chocolate
humans were not meant to mate for life "go forth and spread thy seed" lol
so true buddyNope! I don't believe in it. You know? This reminds me of Romeo & Juliet.
Anyways, "love at first sight" is a bunch of crap. That just proves that you like body over soul. You have never met that person before in your life, hence the "first sight", so how could you love them? You'd have no idea what their personality is like or anything. So, yeah. No love there!
yeah..lust on first site
hmmas most have already said i dont believe there is
lol....xd...but you know that they say that love is blind...xdSo true dude someone i knew did that and married some ugly women horriible teeth and smiles like an hemriod on steriods.
hmmOnly if she lets me inside
yeah support thatlove at first sight is a load of BS you cant "love" someone by just looking at them that my friend is called a crush you have to know someone for years n be really close to them thats what love is
:scorps:
hmm interestingWe would think: how are we suposed to know what it feels to be in love when this is our first life on this earth as far as we can remember? we've had no experience prior to it actually happening...in other words you might fall in love and not even realize it.
All i know is that i've met 2 girls in my life that i felt something for(although one more strongly than the other), more strongly than any other women i've seen and trust me i've seen thousands of gorgeous girls all over, but there was something special.
They are it, like "the girl of my dreams" it, i feel physically attracted to them, and i only know them a bit at the personality level, but their smiles is enough to tell me"girl with that kind of smile cant possibly be bad"...but there's this third feeling i cant shake off, something i dont get from any other girl, something that would make me choose them over any other, even if they are prettier than they are or nicer, a gut feeling that i got the moment i saw them, so i wonder if i fell in love at first sight
yeah..might be that
Haha i see what you did there, you are a hell of a writer. And yeah i guess i agree with theres such a thing as love at first sight in that context.Well guys, I used to believe that no was the answer, but I'm positive that I can make all those who believe the answer is no that it is truly a yes.
So there I was, 17 years old and working at Pac Sun as a part time job in a mall. Across from Pac Sun was Macy's. There, an 17 year old girl was a sales clerk. I introduced myself to them, including Abigail, the 17 year old. After 4 months, I asked Abigail out, cutest girl you could imagine. We dated for months, then years. We worked hard together, supporting each other through college. After we graduated, I proposed to Abbie, she said yes! We we're both living comfortably, Abbie working as a teacher, myself, still working hard in graduate college to become a doctor (still working today to become one, 2 years left!) So, this story has proven to you all nothing. Now, onto the greatest part.
Abigail became pregnant at 22. She seemed strong and happy but I was a nervous wreck. What the hell am I going to do, I'm still in school, how will I support a child? Should we discuss on what to do about the child? How will we support ourselves with all our payments? All I knew is that this baby was the scariest thing I have ever came across in my life. Now we're in the ER, Abbie's about to give birth, I'm freaking the **** out. I want to punch the doctor's, I want to comfort Abbie, I want this kid to go away, I'm completely confused.
And there she was, our new daughter was born. I felt relieved that Abbie wasn't in as much pain as she looked like before, but still scared. Rachel wraps up Stephanie and lays her down with Abbie. Abbie gestured her towards me and I picked up Stephanie, looked her in the face and it hit me. All my confused thoughts, all my anguish, terror, etc. suddenly vanished. All I knew then and there was that no matter what, this was my child, no matter what, I will do anything to protect her, even with my life, no matter what, I loved her with the bottom of my heart.
Do I believe that love at first sight is real? Yes, I do and Stephanie is proof enough for me.
so true buddyNo I dont believe in love at first sight but I believe in attraction at first sight but not love. You cant love a girl without knowing her. You dont know anything about that person so ya.
wow....you sure made me believe in......but i was expecting a different love at first sight....i guess you figured it out....but still i really liked what you wrote...so +rep buddyWell guys, I used to believe that no was the answer, but I'm positive that I can make all those who believe the answer is no that it is truly a yes.
