This question is for both atheist and theist, do you believe there a life after death or some kind of it?
Personally I don't believe, but is possible that our conscious can survive a few minute after brain damage.. or take a new form.

I believe so yes.

Yes and there is now growing evidence of it's existence. However, I should like to say that when we die, our brains remain active for a long time, which means thought processes are happening. Which proves nothing one way or the other, but just thought I should point that out.

The other strange thing - we do not know where the Human Mind resides. Yes I know, we all think it's somewhere inside our brain but thats because we see the world from that same level, it does not mean the Human Mind is in the same place, the brain.

What of out of body experiences? This shows at least that we are capable of actually leaving our physical bodies and yet still somehow being conscious.

I have come to the conclusion that the Human Mind is as the Human Soul. And, think of it, you know what that means, don't you? Be careful what you wish for.

In other words, be like Pilgrim John Bunyan and stay on the Straight and Narrow road towards the Celestial City shining up ahead.

lmao i dig but it had me rollin im high af rn so you know.

I feel like the human the consciousness is what makes the individual, but in the same i think they are one.

the human soul, or i should say, all souls IMO are recycled into some sort of cycle.
these souls being kept near simply by necessity are like an intangible battery circling about.

like the precipitation cycle almost, but in the form of reincarnation, and similar to energy.
no two ions, photons, neutrons, atoms or cells will ever form a singular being again.

I feel that is how the actual "spirit" exists, it is energy and that is the body, and the soul is the melding of the body and conciousness,
thats why everyone feels some sort of spiritual connection, more or less, to death.

sorry for the

spaces

edit; all life after you is after life.
the earth and universe tend to recycle.
you will never be you again, but your pieces will transfer and convey life nonetheless and you will be gone but you will be a part of that.
its a story of grand scale legacy within our grasp or extent thus far.

die happy

Nah, I believe you only get the one. It's a little depressing at first but ultimately life has more meaning that way.

You know, I realized recently that I've always believed in God, and even if I throw my beliefs away it would stick just as a habit. But I can't see an afterlife, especially heaven. Follow a path and be happy forever? That really just seems like a fairy tale. And the more I think of how I once didn't exist, the idea that I will cease to exist seems a lot more likely.

To me that's faulty logic because you have no perception of reality before your born, it's one thing to say your comfortable of the idea of not existing based on that, but I don't see the logic from what your saying how that's more likely

An afterlife can only be as good as our fantasies and there can't be a fantasy that satisfies all of us unless God makes it so we all end up the same in the end. That could happen.

My perception of reality had a beginning, so therefore an end seems natural as well.
