@OP: I also like the idea of ChouIno, since not only would it close off Chouji's character development, but also Ino's since it would show how much she has grown from the little girl who used to be somewhat shallow in the romance department.

@ OP: I like ChouIno as well, since I think it also nicely develops Ino's character as well by showing that she's moved beyond shallow assessments of guys based on their looks or "coolness" alone.

1. Because its impossible for a NaruSaku fan to legitimately like any other Sasuke or Hinata pairings - it must be because they want them out of Naruto and Sakura's way.

2. Because NaruSaku fans are the only ones who could possibly sideship.

Look, I'm not saying there are no NaruSaku fans who sideship for the purpose you laid out, but its no more in the NS fandom than elsewhere.

Definitely, also because of Chouji's recent character progression making him much more of a brave hero whilst still being the friendly, delicate old Chouji it works as in "he gets the girl" trope as well. I just really want it to happen.
