I'm thinking her MS design will kinda look a litttle like Itachi's (but without the curves; more like how Sasuke's EMS looks like without his original MS on the outside)

Her unique technique? IDK. She seems pretty adept at simple genjutsu (with 1T no less) so it'll kind of make sense/be borderline OP if she has Tsukuyomi and Kotoamatsukami (ish). A man can dream :hyper:

I can see her getting Amaterasu, it's an awesome power although maybe not suited to her personality since it is a power used primarily to kill the opponent. I'd be ok with it, but only if she got it alongside another unique sharingan ability that we haven't seen.

Yeah, I'm unsure of why Kishimoto didn't explore that at all. Maybe it was to show that Madara's power was far above any other uchiha even though he only relied on standard MS techniques. His strength didn't rely on a gimmick like kamui, he was the real deal. Or maybe since Madara was planning to become the jyuubi jinchuriki and had mastered the Rinnegan a unique sharingan ability would have been overkill and a mess of combined powers. Kishimoto most likely just liked his character better without it.
