Do we get Infractions for insulting?...Word?

Is it really true that you can get an infraction in NB forums for insulting other members? What kind of a crappy rule is that?

I just recieved an infraction from Nexus because I called God of Ice's action for pathetic instead of himself, and Nexus thought I called him pathetic and recieved my infraction. Me and God of Ice are cool, I respect him for keeping us updated with the latest spoilers and anime episodes. And even he himself saw through that post of mine and realized I was joking. He repped me for it.

Geez, NB forums and it's administration is made up of children. You get neg repped for insulting Konoha and get an infraction for insulting other NB members with non flaming and non racial related posts. Since when was it a problem to insult other people on these internet forums a long as it didn't involve flaming and racism? I guess it's ok to give an infraction to those who are insulting other people's family or religion. But I get an infraction for calling someone pathetic? Seriously.....?

Even If I should call someone Pathetic in the future for all the right reasons and with my heart in it, it's not something to get an infraction for.

I cannot go on with my life if I cannot insult someone. That's why I think it's a crappy rule.

Sounds like the person who gave you the infraction was either a fan or just simply stupid.

Let me just edict something.

Infractions for insulting a members its a great rule.

But:

Infractions for joking with a friend is just stupid.

Infractions for expressing your opinions like... Girls with Dust-Cleaners Hairs shouldnt sing... or sream and then make a CD out of it... it's stupid aswell

Apparently, ppl do get infracted for things like that, even if you're just joking around.

All you can do is watch what you say, because it could be more offensive than you think.
