Yeah, Sarada is pretty cool. She hasn't really done anything that deserves lambasting yet tbh and she's pretty decently written for a female character in a Kishimoto product.

As an Uchiha she hasn't really shown any of their traditional moves, save for the games although hopefully those are an indicator of how she'll be as the series progresses. It isn't really jarring since she really has only had 10 chapters to show her skill and in those 10 chapters she killed the sharingan spying creature and took down a group of shins.

So far the only things she has done to deserve criticism is; getting taken down by the puppet girl, which doesn't bother me since iwabe was struggling with some fodder kid in a 1v1 in the same scene, getting her design ruined, which isn't a character flaw but actually an authorial flaw and (apparently) the heinous act of being Sakura's Daughter, which doesn't bother me in the slightest (would have bothered me if she was Karin's Daughter) since Sakura is pretty useful for a non clan ninja.

TLR(even though that wasn't long): As an Uchiha fan I accept her.

Sarada isn't protected all of the time though, she's in fact protected others in combatant settings and is the furthest thing from a coward that would back down from a fight. Sarada will bit LIT, don't let the naysayers curb her potential with whack comparisons to Sakura.

That scene actually proved that the Ototsuki Clan has some sort of relation to the God Tree. Remember Momoshiki turning Kinshiki into a fruit too?

Baring the whole Sharanoo catch phrase. She is NOT Sakura. As a Genin she has already soloed her opponent during the Chunin exams and solid that Ninja from the cannibal dude's click before Burt messed things up.

And all without the Sharingan. So there's hope....if ike stops making her out to look like a damn prostitute I'm good.
