Obito hardly ever whined unless being pressed about a subject or even asked, and Sasuke always kept his business to himself until things spiraled out of control. Sasuke was never a whiner, and neither was Madara. Speaking about something isn't whining, however Sarada was complaining over something so trivial.

I can't recall Madara ever whining, Obito never exploded unless Rin was brought up and the same concerning Itachi being mentioned to Sasuke. They kept their feelings to themselves mostly, and it isn't a surprise that they would lose their cool when pressed about something they themselves are trying to bottle up.

Naruto couldn't win by going for the kill, he always needed Kurama's help, if Sasuke's life was truly threatened, the I doubt he'd take his time fighting Naruto like he always does and would have finished it right there.

The whole "holding back" theory makes no sense, because even if he tried, Sasuke is just too good for him to beat without Kurama's help. Naruto cannot solo. And Sasuke chose to travel the world and wasn't forced to. And of course Naruto would win the final battle that determines whether he becomes Hokage, all the other battles were just too worthless right? whatever
