I think if Luffy used Armament Haki with Gear2, it will make Luffy's strength twice the Gear2, which inresult to be called Gear4. But someone will say "Luffy already used them." Yeah, but not at full power I think. The way Jet Gatling been against Lucci was far different than any other opponent Luffy faced. I might say that the "Full-Power Gatling" could match Red Hawk. So how the case will be if Full-Power Gatling used with Full-Body Armament Haki?

I think Gear 4 will be nicknamed "Devil Luffy". I imagine it would a superior version of Gear 2, so much so that, instead of having the skin turn pink, it would turn pure red, and rather than steam leaving his body, it will be fire. And then he will combine it with Armament Haki, giving him a red/black colour scheme, reminiscent of typical demons and devils.

I think that would be a good idea, but he would move so fast it would look like the same as Gear 2.

And that seems like something that would demand for him to stay still to charge, and that leaves too much of a window for attack.

I think Gear 4 will never happen. He is not a car, besides it would be too much super saiyan if Luffy had all these 'forms'.

He now has fast and strong mode and that is all he needs. I think Oda will just make additions to the 2 gears that he already has.
