do u like naruto as the main character

I like naruto but I would have loved him to be developed just like sasuke is an to be able to fight his enemies withot borrowed powers such BM and sage mode. They should have been reserved only for special occasions

no if im honest i dont like him as a main character very much.. but that could be because of his character.. as others have said.. as a main character i think he needed that one on one match.. to truly showcase his skills from which he developed training with jiraiya..

i think learning to control kurama should have come a lot later than it did.. so it gave sage mode and naruto's power a time to show.. without people complaining its all thanks to kurama..

I always thought Naruto would have grown to control Kurama's power and then not use it. Like, for real, that would be so much better for Naruto, cuz then it'd be "Kurama, I can use your power at any time. But I won't cuz you're a living being, not some weapon." and that could have made their friendship, maybe even better than what it is now. Not only that, but then Kishi could have expanded on Sage Mode. What we've seen as the Kurama-chakra cloak could have just been Naruto wrapping Nature Energy around himself and giving it a tangible form to increase his power. Then, he would be using his own power, and not on someone else's, which IMO, is a key factor of a main character.

Naruto became a better main character during the war. Before that I never really liked his character (there are still moments where I dont like him but its not as bad as it used to be).

I watch and read Naruto for people like the Uchihas, and Pein, and Orochimaru. The whole "Peace and unity" thing bores me because it's always thrown at you, but these characters, who offer different views, are refreshing to me.

Now this is what I wanted to see!! Thank you for enlightening me!! I'm not against you on this one. I know you don't appreciate the main theme of the story but you do appreciate some very strong ones I actually thought you didn't like the characters in general but I was wrong on that part. As long as you do have a thematic sense then that's awesome

Seriously,I am not bashing him .however do u think naruto develop mentally, physically (base on skill) and story storywise as standard main main character should be (kenshin,goku,sasuke,luffy etc)the kangaroo is comming to an end and I you guy are not impress.plot not jutsu,unlimited support from kurama and shinobi alliance,tnj,plot not jutsuz,plot shield and naruto never had a decent 1 vs 1 batttle

1. naruto really development as character with compare to goku and luffy. 2. kurama part of naruto power. 3 sasuke never win in fair fight without plot shield.

He is a typical shonen main character, a positive goofy guy who becomes strong against all odds and proves himself to the world..

I agree with this. If Lee got the same level of development as Naruto, he'd be the most entertaining character to watch fight.

i love naruto as the main character he is unique, yet familiar to other main characters and he has really improved from chapter 1 from a goofy screw up to a goofy power house which is what i expect from shonen main characters.

and you should keep this in mind, sasuke was developed to be the opposite to naruto so no naruto no sasuke

naruto is not goofy because hes lead this war.
