I think everyone gets bullied to some extent. Even between friends, some 'friendly banter' can really hurt people. It's just how you view it really that classes 'bullying' or not.

Used to like 10 years ago, then went to high-school and no one gave me shit.
If anything; as Cyborg said, friendly banter is the worst of what I got.

Yeah, highschool was a *****. Apparently I was the kid people liked to try and get mad for the reaction... And others would try ta' put down near their friends....

Math, gym, science, and literature classes were SO bothersome....

4 classes? That's like getting made fun of all day

I never got bullied because I showed the problems I had with other people. I was never arrogant and never shy. I was cool with anyone even if they were classed as the 'tough guys', and I still am.

I don't even understand how kids get bullied. All you have to do is smile at the people who you feel uncomfortable with, even if it kills you to, and they will see they can't take advantage of you.

If by bullied, you mean getting teased. Then yeah sure, I got teased for lots of things, like anime. ****. I still get teased even to this day by my mates. But I just laugh, because it's understandable, and I always tease people for liking things I don't like or follow.

In most cases, both the bully and the person who gets bullied are simultaneously suffering from two issues: insecurity and inadequacy—neither of which I remember having suffered from, nor have I met many people who do.

I was constantly made fun of for being too skinny throughout middle school and high school. Girls would constantly ask me if I was bulimic/anorexic and would ask me to give them pointers. Needless to say, the majority of the girls at my school were ****s haha

Did, now I don't get any of that as far as I know as people could be talking behind my back, but this hardly affects me at all nowadays.

The kind I did suffer was vicious though, not the kind of blatant physical or verbal abuse that kids usually do. What I went through were mind games where the main focus was my low self-esteem, which usually is the focus. It would take the form of these poor blokes always teasing, in their conduct, the ambiguity of what was really meant in our interactions. They covertly kept a distance and acted, to some degree, the opposite of that. It was most obvious in how the subject was almost always me and very seldom them when we socialised, with emphasis on exploring my character to the extents you'd, as a person, rather keep to yourself.
I was an overly abmitious guy during this time, stupidly amibtious even, so pressure was put on me to prove myself and have me live up to these idiotic expectations I had of myself.
BUT HEY! Maybe I misunderstood them? Maybe they were really trying to be nice? Whatever the case I didn't take well to it and it was a very dark period in my life with suicidal thoughts and all that. In retrospect, my case definitely isn't the worst of cases in terms of consequences, for which I am glad.

I actually bullied the bullies, only coz they would pick on the weaker softer people, but they cannot fight with people their own size or take on someone like them, so they are actually the ones who are the real cowards, showing your strength on someone weaker doesn't prove you're strong or cool at all.
