Do they worship god in naruto?

I wonder, besides hidan, does anyone worship any god, lord or higher ruling? I noticed that shika maru called himself a god in the precence off hidan. so... does that mean he not worships a god?

Hidan is the only one I believe, and there is some legitimacy to his God, apparently. However, he could just use the "God" thing as an angle, when it's merely a technique he uses.

Aside from Hidans cult I don't know of any other religions within the Narutoverse, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was more. If I remember correctly Manda demanded that Oro gave him sacrifices for being summoned. Maybe those were used for the worship of something else.

I agree with the post about the shrines... They are built to worship buddhas and names greatly influenced by religion like Izanami, ...etc come from a Shinto Godess ... I am not a religious expert but I think it is safe to presume that they do worship God...well atleast some people do.... Some people [In Naruto] might even consider Sage of Six paths to be God too....
