[Discussion] do they need to be alive to release Infinite Tsukoyomi?

So we know Sasuke and Naruto are going to have their final fight, at the same time, in order to release IT they have to use their seals to do so. Im wondering, does Sasuke plan on killing Naruto? Because if he does, then they cant release it and sasuke's dreams will be worthless. So i think it wont be a fight to the death,but more like a fight of ideals. Whoever turns out to be right will be the one who has to give up, i imagine this exact topic will be discussed next chapter.

Also, Sasuke planned on fighting Naruto ever since he got to the battlefield. Lets say Naruto allowed Sasuke to kill the 5 kage and the tailed beasts, they would ultimately have to fight for the seat of Hokage IF there is still even gonna be one.
