Do the Sword of Totsuka and the Sword of Kusanagi have similar cutting powers

I know the Sword of Totsuka can seal you in a genjutsu and its liquid but can the Sword of Totsuka cut through almost anything, and be controlled telepathically like the Sword of Kusanagi.

It can't cut through Kyuubi chakra and adamantine, a material hard as diamonds. So yeah...
OT: I don't know if it can cut like Kusanagi, but it probably can't be telepathically wielded as it's, well, in a sake jar. It's liquid.
