[Discussion] Do the Straw-Hats need more people? What position will they fill?

For those of you who don't know a while back Oda Confirmed the notion that we were getting more crew members in the mugiwaras. But my biggest complaint is do they have any positions that need to be filled?

They have the core six needed to run a ship

• Captain
• Navigator
• Cook
• Doctor
• Shipwright
• Cannoneer(in this case a sniper)

And three extra too

• Historian
• Swordsman
• Musician

What else could they possibly want/need?! Like Seriously when these new people show up will they be a fisherman (We already know the crew can fish so no) A Blacksmith (They only have two sword users and both have boss swords that are top tier so no)...

I guess the real question is when we do get more crew what will they do?!
What could these new crew members be or do exactly?

For those who don't know the new nakama thing its old but still way latter than when brook joined

So its a guarantee we get more crew

So If (Cause my stupid beta brain won't work right now) you could list off possible straw hat roles that need to be filled that would be great and I might rep you if its real helpful.

They dont need people to fill positions in, look and whitebeards crew and other crews, aslong as they have members they can trust, thats all they need

An Ex Marine who knows how the insides of the WG work.

A Logia. Just because.

A Messenger. Someone who can convey messages quickly and help coordinate assaults with allies. Possibly a DF power that allows this. Something like what Inoichi did.

Maybe a specialist Helmsman. Would help if he's a fishman too. =D

Teach had a cheap power up, also they would need to find a Op devil fruit first, which would be close to impossible, also Imagine if they found the time time fruit, like Law you can create a room and manipulate time, slow it down for chosen targets so it seems your moving at super speed, stop time, this ability would be Op

Blacksmith? Not sure of relevance...

Idk if the really NEED a helmsman, as that position would be filled by someone else, like Franky. But just in case... And Jimbei was helmsman after the prison break/going to the war, and maybe en route to Marine Ford the second time (for 3D2Y)

Violet may join because of... things... For the future Royal family, i'd say it would be Kyros as king. His wife died, so there would be no queen. And Rebecca as princess again. It just seems as though Violet could leave... Plus she'd be a great asset, and great for the after parties.

Monet I don't believe is dead. That may just be me, but I think she will make an appearance similar to Robin after Doffy is dealt with.

Luffy said he wants a magician as part of his crew in the early parts of one piece. So if he finds a magician, he will definitely make that person part of the crew. And also Jimbei.

I think he'll keep crew to minimal,but increase his allies atleast now it looks that way.
and now that the main positions are filled as stated above Messenger would be great,and i think sub positions should be filled for eg.

under usopp group will be the ammunition handlers or supporters,
under chopper Fighter + medical team,
Under brook Fighter + musicians
same goes for sanji

Something like underlings of commanders and the main group will be commander [something like WB ship]

since crew size is gonna increase i think it should be done but not for all for eg sanji doesn't need helpers,same goes for chopper
Brook needs the underlings or fellow musicians
But its unlikely looking at the size of their ship.
