Do the conditions of Naruto's Kage Bunshin no Jutsu depend on his health?

I was wondering that if Naruto were for some reason, badly bruised and cut up yet still had enough strength to create a Shadow Clone, would the shadow clone come out in Naruto ill-image, or would he be renewed and more healthy looking (no scratches, cuts or bruises)?

I'd imagine whatever state you are in is what the clone would be in.

This isn't like illusion runes in dota. Cosmetically yes, in practice, no
