Do the anime makers even read the manga (further than the anime is)?

That left eye has even more wrinkles with it than the right eye.. Them idiots don't even know that kishi blacking out the surroundings of the eye has meaning.
They probably still think he's some old dude, possibly madara, they don't even know they have to pop madara out of a coffin soon.

And i know there's way more the anime makers ****ed up by not reading the manga till the present chapter, this isn't even a real **** up since it's in the opening song, but still.

I think they're just a bunch of commercial idiots that only make naruto because it's populair and they were the highest bidder.
I don't think they truly care about naruto and know what it's all about.

ESPECIALLY THOSE IDIOTS THAT MAKE UP THOSE FILLERS. But fillers i watch, but with brain activity to zero.

They also painted the Juubi's eye wrong in its debut, but hey, who's keeping score? I've just gotta give em credit for actually lasting through 250+ episodes of filler (that's over 5 years btw, more filler than actual episodes)

Yes, they read it because they have to make sure they don't put something in a filler that would completely contradict something that's later revealed in the manga
But mistakes happen - they are only human after all; it can't be easy to come up with those fillers after all *shrugs*

All I can find to say is you are over thinking something that is so small that they have the right to just not care about it, nor should you. And you could maybe say the Rinnegan transplant made wrinkles/bags appear.

Blocking out the eye did have meaning, only because it was a neon sign saying it's Obito. Tobi/Obito has Rinnegan so the symbolism is gone so putting a shadow or mask over the left eye would be rather pointless.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Kakashi see Obito in the afterlife (in the anime, not the manga) when he died during the Pein invasion? I'm too lazy to look, but I remember some talk about Obito's sharingan mistakingly having 3 tomoe for some reason. So, yeah, if you're looking for evidence in the anime that contradicts Obito being Tobi, there's plenty.
