Shippings wars has been a major part of most fandoms over the years, good examples whould be; avatar the last airbender's Kataang & Zutara, harry potter had harryxhermione ronxherminone, Xena: Warrior Princess shipping wars soon went on to be gay rights debates & even here in naruto we have naruhina, sasusaku & narusaku.

Shipping wars can somtimes get so heated that when a series finishes and when the the correct parings happen or not at all, it leaves some fans bitter on how it ended, it even makes some fans hate the charater that could be the other shipping pair from the one that they would like to see happen.

So what do you think?

Some people like a bit of romance in the story and everyone ships what they like. Shipping wars mostly come out of NaruHina vs NaruSaku threads.

Yeah, they kind of are. I have yet to see a hardcore naruhina fan "convert" a hardcore narusaku fan. The purpose of arguing is to make your point as best as possible and maybe find common ground. There is no common ground here and there is almost no chance of changing someone's mind. So yes, in that aspect it is a little redundant.

But I solemnly believe the only fans that have zero right to complain at the end are the narusaku fans. It seems Kishi has made his point quite well, and if their desired pairing fails they can't scream troll or BS. It's right there in their faces.
