Do sasuke have more contribution in the war than naruto?

The Edo's thing barely counts sense most of the Edos were already sealed, and the one that was most important to stop is still around.

And the Hokages stopping the Ten Tails thing failed. Really Sasuke hasn't accomplished that much, Naruto on the other hand has shielded the Alliance throughout the war.

Edit: Like the above guy said, Sasuke helped Akatsuki start the war in the first place.

I personally disagree.

Naruto

1. Saved the alliance by Zetsu Search and Destroy.
2. Prevented mass casualties by engaging Obito with Bee...preventing the Six Paths Jinjuriki from wrecking havoc on the battlefield.
3. Protected practically everyone using his chakra
4. Has a connection to the tailed beasts inside Obito
5. Defeated the Third Raikage
6. Stopped Muu from being able to use Jinton through team effort with Gaara
7. Helped stop Edo Nagato
8. Helped stop Magnet Release User

Sasuke

1. Primarily played support in ending Edo Tensei
2. Revived Orochimaru
3. Indirectly through Orochimaru revived the Hokage


When I think of war contributions, I personally side with actions that support the majority of the war effort. In terms of contribution, all Sasuke has done is assist ending Edo Tensei (though no real key threat pieces remained by that point), and bring out the Hokage....we have yet to see if this in fact turns into a threat pending Orochimaru's intentions as well as Sasuke's own ambition.

Comparatively, Naruto has supported the lives of the military forces and has kept morale that would likely be gone at this point. Some would say he's keeping "fodder alive", but realistically what happens if they all die?! You've basically lost the majority of life ok in the Narutoverse...... Also, without the alliance Naruto would be toast by now.

No one has hurt the Juubi so I wouldn't count that as a fault. Similarly, Naruto stopped the world forest move from Madara protecting the 4th division from casualties...he was then told to leave the fight to the Kage...so again not really much to fault him with.


So in terms of keeping the world alive, I'd say Naruto has done far more. Yes Sasuke has brought some extremely great fire power, but he hasn't contributed to moral, or saving/protecting large scores of people on multiple occasions.

How come helping itachi isn't with Naruto too?

Naruto became a a vessel for that crow thing, and even if he was an involuntary helper, his presence allowed him to be of aid. And remember the zetsu took half of the armies people before Naruto showed up. After the 2st day it was like 40000 soldiers getting owned. Naruto made sure those casualties weren't as high.

So no. Not even close. And the hokages haven't assisted in jack. They quite literally just showed up, the barrier was destroyed in minutes. I'll give Minato cred though... But no, as a direct helper, Naruto is the MVP of this war.

Your opinion towards seems to be biased towards naruto.

You are mentioning every single edo, naruto "helped" to stop as a separate feat.
Basically if i would list feats like you do , this is how it would go for sasuke :

1. Protected itachi in his fight against kabuto
2. Helped itachi in stopping kabuto and defeated kabuto.
3. Stopped edo tensei with itachi's help
4. 6 paths of obito disappeared thanks to him ( and i am not mentioning them one by one, as it would make the list too long)
5. Chiyo,kimmimaro and hundreds of other edos disappeared , thanks to him.
6. Killed alot of zetsu including there leader.
7. Revived Orochimaru and turn him into good guy.
8. Asked orochimaru to revive 4 hokages for him so, if he never desired to revive the 4 hokages , naruto and alliance would be dead.
9. Revived Hashirama through oro
10. Revived Tobirama through oro
11. Revived Hiruzen through oro
12. Revived Minato through oro
13. Karin,suigetsu,oro who were taking orders of sasuke, were the sole reason the gokages are alive right now.
14. Healed tsunade (through karin)
15. Healed onoki,A,gaara,mei (if tsunade was dead, this would be impossible)

And i haven't mention the stuff hokages contributed in the war , hence all that credit goes to sasuke , since he is the reason they came back. (like protecting the entire shinobi alliance)

Obviously, you were making out naruto do stuff more than he actually did.

Well I'd say the first three are basically the same thing....though helping Itachi stop Kabuto and Saving Itachi from being reprogrammed would be considerable to me.

1. Protected Itachi from reprogrammification
2. Helped stop Kabuto
3. Of the Edos....stopping Kimmimaru and Chiyo were the greatest ones of note, the Jinjuriki were already in Bee's grasp.
4. Revived Orochimaru
5. Via Orochimaru revived the Hokage
6. Via Orochimaru saved/quickly revived the Kage

However, when you think about it....practically everything other than healing the Gokage was done for a selfish desire as opposed to actually contributing to the war....he only followed Itachi because he needed to talk. Stopped Kabuto because otherwise Itachi wouldn't listen. Revived Orochimaru and then from him the Hokage because he wanted answers.

So is it truly considered helping out the war, or just a lucky break Sasuke ended up liking Hashirama's words?! Also, half of the feats you've given Sasuke credit for are mainly coming from others. Itachi stopped Edo tensei...quite frankly Sasuke didn't care. Orochimaru had the information on the Hokage....and we do not know if Orochimaru acted on Sasuke's orders to save the Gokage...it hasn't been explained.

Unlike Sasuke, the majority of Naruto's actions have come from intentional design and have come from his own hard work as opposed to indirectly being responsible.


Bit once again...that's just how I see it. Obviously Sasuke's actions have been helpful and have definitely kept the alliance alive, but I don't consider hos mostly self serving acts to truly be helping the alliance as Naruto....and like I said...Sasuke has immensely helped the alliance through the providing of quality combatants; however, the sheer quantity and the fact that the world wouldn't really be the world without our "fodder" shinobi gives Naruto the edge IMO...

No matter how you look at it, Sasuke was the one who desired to bring back the hokages and they were brought back upon his will only.

When we are asked who built Taj Mahal, we don't say workers made it, we say the king Shahjahan made it even though we all know the king himself didn't made it, it was all the work done by workers.
Same Logic applies here, if sasuke wasn't there , Orochimaru wasn't coming back and Sasuke brought him back because he wanted to bring back hokages.
Only sasuke haters would say the credit for bringing back hokages wont go to sasuke.
Why? Because it is too harsh to accept truth for them.

One more example is this thread, Sasuke did more in the war than naruto without even trying xD
