Let's say you want to help a homeless person but the homeless person is an asshole, do you still help him?

Let's say there is a minority group but 90 percent of the mare trouble makers, do the police treat them with respect or suspicion?

And they treat them with suspicion is justified or discrimination or both?

Good and bad are interesting concepts, something that require their own discussion.

On the point of help, yes. Help isn't contingent on you as a person, perhaps the help will make one turn from bad to good.
Man you are all so optimisitc, you give me hope in people. I thought the Tobiramas of the world ruled it.

I have helped enough members like that. I just ignore their personality if the problem is genuine. :lok:

It would be stupid to not be cautious if you know you are dealing with a hostile group, but being courteous towards a person is a reflection of your own manners and education. Police should know or be trained to handle such situations and not make it worse.
Putting your knee on the neck of an incapacitated person for a long duration, or pushing an old frail grandpa on a cement road in such a manner to causes spinal injuries, is not exactly sign of well trained police men.

The old man in the video was slammed on the road while walking on a sidewalk. He was just visiting his son in USA. No crime at all other than his skin colour.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say. But conversation alone still shouldn't lead to violent action by police. Actual violence, as in physical threat, is another matter. Then, of course, it has to be applied back - again in proportionate matter.

at this point in my life i only have so many fucks to give. im not helping an asshole or putting any energy towards one. im not a hero like that, met too many people that take kindness for weakness and people that want to use me for money

the other situation is stereotyping, which is lazy police work. no one person is the same in a minority group. unless you know for certain this person is apart of some gang or terrorist group, dont just assume shit and ruin/take someones life because youre lazy or prejudice. do your job correctly or get another one

police officers are human beings too...they have emotions...if a police officers emotions are hurt like for exenple his dead beloved mom was being insulted and act back violently..he might be wrong when doing his duty...but in a eyes of pipole and humanity his actions are undastood..

but still some pipole given some powers but they abuse them..they should be punished..

Well that kind of excuse for an extreme action will land him in the soup in my country.

Anybody deserves help, whether or not you're an asshole. Although there are times where people should have to face what they did cause by mental health, like murdering somebody. Being an asshole while homeless is probably complicated, sometimes they did that to themselves, but other times something might have happened which caused stress and they want to take it out. If they did do that to themselves, they might have not got the help they needed since mental health in America is really bad LMAO
