Not so sure what's so confusing about this. Both Madara and Obito gained RSM via the the bijuu. Then later Naruto. Not that hard to grasp. If Sauce had put the bijuu into himself instead of his susanoo he would have, most likely had obtained RSM as well.

I don't know about either obito or mads having rsm, mads took hashis senjutsu and I'm not sure where you got obito from, juubito maybe? But I'm pretty sure nothing he did showed signs of rsm either.

Well Obito had TSB. Which is a RSM thing so there's that...maybe an incomplete RSM perhaps?

I honestly thought that RSM came from having access to all the bijuu power/KKT/KKG or whatever.. Madara & Obito i don't think had RSM but were just Juubi jins.. I say that because they didn't have access to the bijuu like Naruto did..

So all in all... I think RSM has to be granted to you from the bijuu themselves an not taken by force like Madara/Obito did..

He did look at his seal all the time, but I've always considered the above rsm, and the below his "so6p mode" which I've seen a few diff names for.

Btw op I believe this is the one your talking about as far as needing the other bijuu chakra
Edit: or they both need all the bijuu chakra(he did do that lava rs in rsm) and the below is him using his avatar with all the bijuu chakra, I don't really remember, there was like a crap load of threads about this at one point

Because it isn't. Databook says it comes from hagoromo. Kishi words are greater than anyone's on this forum + naruto got showed in RSM after receiving hagoromo chakra + from another official image that Indra posted one time ago,it was said that naruto got rsm after combining the six paths yabg power he got from hagoromo with his senjutsu while sasuke acquired rinnegan by combining the Sox paths yin power with his dojutsus. You can choose to accept this or stay in denial. That is all I would be saying,good day.

The form that people like to call "Base RSM" is what was stated to come from Hagoromo's Six Paths Power of Light. He doesn't possess Hagoromo's chakra anymore, so he can't use this "Base RSM".

Naruto is clearly stated to have replicated Ten Tails' power through the Biju. The Biju are the source of his chakra cloak, not Hagoromo.

Stop going against canon and canon can only be determined by Kishi the creator of Naruto,No fan can under any circumstance change canon to fit their ideas about Naruto. Naruto is the child of prophecy and the child that plays with Tailed Beast it canon and Naruto dose not need the Juubi body like Madara and Obito needed because their DNA was not complete without the Juubi to control the power. The chakra cloak Naruto uses is from Bijuu chakra, but he can use RSM without the cloak and without the Bijuu. TSB also aren't related to Bijuu/Juubi chakra.

Hamura was not a jinchuriki and he had RSM and TSB. Toneri also had TSB.
