How do you figure a kunai is faster? Dont say thing like this without proof

its a matter of principle/opinion/interpretation, mechanics & situation. all of dei jutsu are ''slow'' except C2: Dragon.

Kunai are like bullets in this manga, on the other hand...

even if speed weren't the issue, dei would still have to keep track of minato.

And again, there's a reason why I said large scale jutsu. A huge explosion from a clay will engulf a kunai. It doesn't travel fast enough to escape the explosion.

He can't mark sand because it's not a whole each piece is a particle which is 2 small to mark I he were to try to mark the sand it will just disperse and form anew it's like righting ur name with a stick on beach and having the wind blow.1.

As long has minato put his chakra in garra sand armor the fight is over

so a bomb can target an already thrown kunai counter it before minato can warp...even tho there will be multiple kunai, deiidara has to reload bombs & dei cant actually find minato? U R pretending that dei has a protective stream of hovering bombs surrounding him in flight while he has a 2nd set that will cover attacks; that's not how it works

You know minato can reverse summon his kunai back at any time and reverse summon his kunia to other kunia rite minato can throw a kunia to the left side and one to the right side and at anytime he can teleport the one to the right to the left and vice versa.

How is he many times superior? Yes he's smarter and alot more analytical, but again, he has no means of hitting a flying target. Again FTG kunai gets countered by sand shuriken.

You want to know another bad match up for Minato?

Levitation never made any difference in his battles aside from the fact that allowed him to avoid ground attacks. It doesn't make him unreachable. Why do you think he fights on the ground most of the time?

Bunta can easily jump over his tsunami, and it doesn't really matter if he can handle the toad if he's not dealing with Minato. If Bunta is summoned its only to spray Gaara with rivers of oil, so before Gaara has time to think about what he's going to do next, he's already crippled.

what you're talking about, but nor Gaara nor Shukaku ever managed to give any kind of trouble to Madara nor caught him while his Susanoo was active. The best Shukaku did was occupy him for a couple of seconds after Gaara and the other Bijuu crated an opening.

During Gai's battle against Madara his kunai perfectly reached the two men fighting in the air, therefore that's false. If his kunais were so easily countered he would never be able to do anything now would he?

Minato doesn't really have bad match ups because he doesn't have any obvious weakness. He either gets overpowered/outmatched or not.
A bad match up would be Neji vs Kidomaru, Kankuro vs Sakon and Ukon, Gai vs Kisame, Sakura and Chiyo vs Sasori, etc... Any situation where one character wins, not because he's stronger or more skilled, but becase their abilities directly negate their opponent's.

Bad match UPS are a thing for sure. Just like how deidara could beat itachi but loses to Sasuke.

The object of the sand Tsunami is not to hit bunta with it.....its to give the landscape a tactical advantage for gaara. He can sink bunta whenever he wants and can block minatos kunai from any distances.

Lee and sasuke were both faster than gaara and look how they ended up.

Lee with 5 gates> base minato damage wise. He hits harder physically and primary lotus> base rasengan.
