Yeah, in my opinion Naruto is the villain. He's the main character; that doesn't mean I agree with what he does. Kishimoto wrote the story from Naruto's perspective, but he gives us a view into Obito's and Madara's world. That is what I see as truly heroic, despite some sacrifices that need to be made to achieve that eternal peace.

And Naruto is trying to stop Obito and Madara for his own selfish purposes. He said he wouldn't let them because he needed to become hokage. That's his dream. I think it's a silly dream he's had since he was 5, at a point where he wouldn't have been of any use anyways. He's just clinging onto a dream that will prolong wars. The existence of the kage of separate villages is part of it too. If Obito and Madara managed to execute their plans, they could end it all.... end reality as the ninja world knows it.

The whole series is about Naruto Uzumaki countering the Hatred of the Shinobi world.

What, are you serious? Naruto only says that as a sort-of joke, he wants to save the world. The Moone Eye Plan will erase all human creative and ability to think for themselves, that means that humans will be nothing more than worthless.
Madara and Tobi are the bad guys, Naruto's real goal is to erase the hate in this world

Ok, this is really annoying, before "you" people make a thread on Uchiha hatred, or Madara as hokage is good or other uchiha and senju related threads... AT LEAST GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT.

1. UCHIHA ELECTED HASHIRAMA
2. they knew more about madara as a leader then you do.
3. Uchiha had no problems with the senju when Tobirama and Hashirama were hokage and Sarutobi and Minato
4. Uchiha discrimination started AFTER the 9-tails attack by Tobi
5. Tobi helped kill the uchiha
6. Tobi and Madara are selfish
7. Stop trying to make the villains of the story into good guys and making the good guys in villains. ITS STUPID

That is truly heroic to you? I think there is a definite right and wrong. Cause we all know deep down what madara and tobi are doing is wrong. Having a lack of empathy, not caring about others in a society, is psychopathic or villainous. Or just wrong. People like this suffer from delusions of grandeur and have distorted self perception thinkin they are better yet treated inferior. Typical villains That Madara and obito are thinking they are entitled to more than one life unlike the rest of humanity

Madara and Obito are not villains. I agree with their ideology and methods. Hell, I wrote my health report about this (we had to evaluate the emotional message in a show or comic.) They're only the villains if you don't agree with them.

Both have killed innocent people to achieve there own goals that's what a villain is you can try and defend them all you like the methods in which they have used are messed up pure and simple.

Not all of the Uchiha's were stabbed in the back....Sasuke's parents were more like back slashed... In any case troll aside it was the UCHIHA CLAN planning a TAKE OVER. They aren't exactly getting backstabbed for an attempt to sieze governmental control. And it was a Sarutobi in charge not a Senju. And it isn't Senju's who caused it, it was Danzo who backed Itachi into a corner. Hiruzen was fighting to peacfully resolve the conflict. The hier to the Senju's Kage title wanted peace where the rejected Senju student wanted to erase the clan's existence.

I disagree a bit with number 3. There were a few Uchihas who disliked Tobirama. Setsuna for example. He attempted an overthrow. I agree with everything else though.
