Do people lean one way or another cus of their surroundings?

I'm not saying people have opinions just cus of group pressure, it's the opposite, if you had a lack of something wouldn't you want to fill that gap? And isn't it until other people have already filled that, that you move on to something else?


For example, if nationalism was banned, wouldn't you easily be part of a group people, who were extremist nationalists?

But if it's not banned would you really want to be an extreme nationalist? No you wouldn't.
